Tara Kyle has
moved from Chicago to Connecticut because of the fact that she no longer felt
safe in Chicago. She wanted to make a new start, and this included getting back
into the good graces of God.
When the
movers arrived, it was then that Tara realized she still had desires and needs
as a woman. The one sexy mover, kept hitting on her, while the other kept cock
blocking them both. After the movers left, she wasn’t sure if it was because she
looked desperate or hot, but whatever it was, she felt good about herself
again.
As the movers
were pulling away, Tara noticed a handsome man across the street. He was
passing out flyers. He too, noticed her, and the fact that prior to him coming
over a moving truck had been there. So he came over, and introduced himself as
Michael Calvin, the Pastor of New Hope Mission Baptist Church.
Tara felt
that it was omen that the Pastor had shown up, “Maybe God really is trying to
tell me something after all.”
After her
attendance at the Women’s Day event, the Pastor made a special visit to Tara’s
home to pray with her. He asked Tara, and I quote as shocking as this is: “Do
you want to pray with your clothes on or off?” And she undressed, with the help
of the Pastor. Tara wasn’t sure of it
was a dream or not, when she came back to her reality. The Pastor was nowhere
to be found. Fortunately, later- he called to explain his disappearance, or she
might have believed everything was a dream.
This kept happening,
“prayer meets” if you will, at Tara’s home. Although, Pastor Calvin is married,
nothing could stop him from connecting to and wanting Tara.
One day, even
the Deacon had caught wind of the situation, and addressed the situation with
the Pastor. He told the Pastor that he was going to go straight to hell. The
Pastor explained to the deacon, that he just didn’t understand. Pastor Calvin
said he had a job to do. A job, prayers
to handle, and that Tara needed his guidance.
This book,
which I purchased on my own, and liked the thought of a Pastor being bad, would
be something “my” audience would like as well. So I bought it. After buying it,
I noticed there were no reviews. I have never reviewed something before anyone
else. *Shock!*
Then as I
read, I knew I was reading a book by a new Author. This I am accustomed to. After that, I was pretty certain, I was reading a book, that had never been edited.
So, because of the problems I was encountering, I contacted a friend of
mine, several actually. One on the phone, and one on messenger. Both suggested
I do what I am going to do.
I spoke with
the writer, and verified that there had been no editor. I pointed out that
there are spelling and grammar errors. But this woman has talent. And no one is perfect. None of us, and I wanted to make her aware of the problems I encountered personally. She assured me she wanted an honest review. I have this in messenger, for proof.
The story
line, is amazing. I literally loved it, that is what had drawn me to the book
in the first place-religion and sin mixing-heck yeah. This is why I bought and
wanted this book. It is a great story, and makes a lot of sense, and is a great
mystery, and a strange kind of love story. I am however, only giving this book
three stars, because it is an excellent read and story line. But the problems I had
keeping up with whom was talking, and the ability to change paragraphs
when someone speaks was literally out of control. Ordinarily I don’t punish for grammar and
typo’s but this was too much. The writer: Sherry has an excellent gift with
writing and story-telling. I do hope to read and see more from her, but with an
editor.

made you write this book?
This
is just a book that came to me one day, and I took it upon myself to write it.

How long did it take you to write this book?
I
would say it took me about three weeks to write this book, because once I
started writing it the story line came so freely.
3.
How long have you been writing?
I
have been writing off and on since I was in high school, but hadn't published
anything until September 2014.
4.
Who are your favorite Author(s)?
I
am a bit old school I like the classics, V.C. Andrews, Edgar Allen Poe, Steven
King, and Danielle Steele.
5.What
are you working on next?
I am currently working on a book called
"Outbreak: A government experiment gone wrong".
6.
What are your hobbies?
I
love reading, writing, crocheting, and spending time with my grandchildren.
7.Do
you have any photos or description of Tara or Pastor Calvin?
The
only picture I have of Tara, and Pastor Calvin are the ones on the book
cover......
Tara
was young woman in her early thirties, lean and slender with a figure to die
for. She had a model body, and she stood 5'5 with shoulder length hair, and
caramel brown eyes, and an almond brown complexion. Pastor Calvin was a tall
slender man about 6'0,.He had an athletic build that made his clothes hand on
him like they were made for him. He was well groomed and clean shaven, and
smelled like a million bucks.He had a low neat hair cut that suggest he gets it
cut every week..
