Winter Solstice Menage (Winter Solstice Run Book 4) by Louisa Bacio

Winter Solstice Menage
(Winter Solstice Run Book 4)

Black Hills Wolves
By Louisa Bacio

Sugar Collins has a big brother named Yas. Yas ventures off to a smaller pack that he learned about from his Mother.

Now that Yas is gone, Sugar decides it’s time to play. And wherever she goes trouble follows. And now that she is learning all her shifting abilities, will she be able to settle down? For that matter, does she even want to…

The best part of Sugar and her dating scenario, is she is dating twins: Derek and Tyler Baker who live in Los Lobos. The confusing, but yet fun part, is that she keeps confusing them, and can’t figure out which of the twins she likes better. They are both so Sexy, and likable, and fun to be with, maybe she could have both? What if? Yeah, if only…

The twins were happy playing the field, until Sugar came into the picture. They have had enough issues with being put through enough issues with their Alpha Leader, so having something other to focus on, made life more entertaining for them.

The true problem, however is, Sugar has an issue that follows her everywhere. Trouble should be her real wolf name, because it follows her everywhere. Once she learns more about her shifting, and dating, and life in general, the newly evolved she-wolf becomes something that even her wolf pack will have issues with taming her.

The “Winter Solstice Run” continues in this saga, and you will love it every step of the way, in this five star book. The characters are intensely evolved and draw you into their lives with them.

“Winter Solstice Menage” is a true five star read, Louisa leaves her readers wanting more, and looking forward to the possibilities of another book. The wolf-packs are truly creative in every aspect. You will love this book, as with anything Louisa puts with pen to paper. Always interesting, and entertaining, and worth your time to read, and leaves you always wanting more! I totally fell in love with Sugar, she was just my kind of character!

My questions for Louisa:

1. What made you decide to write this series?

As I wrote “Claiming the She-Wolf,” the character of Sugar came on strong. Yas and his mate Tala, Sugar and then Tala’s brother Shilah all intertwine. The Black Hills Wolves shared world is the first time I’ve worked within those constrains, but it’s an amazing group of authors and I’m thrilled to be part of the pack.

2. Do you have photos or descriptions of the twins Derek and Tyler Baker?

Most definitely, I have inspiration for the Baker twins. Attached is the before – as I was writing – and then a little after.(above)

This photo stated "Sugars Man!"

3. Do you have a photo or description of Sugar Collins?

“She possessed all sorts of curves in a pair of tight faded jeans and a soft-looking, body-clinging sweatshirt, and this lush blonde, curly hair that made Ty fist his hands to keep from reaching out. When she saw him, her eyes widened and she smiled, as if she knew him.”

4. How long did it take you to write this book?

Winter Solstice Ménage took about four months to write from start to editing finish.

5. What are you working on now?

Too many stories! First off, a ménage to follow up “Ménage by Monday,” which was in the Three Times Lucky boxset. A second collection will be coming out this year, and I promise a thrilling tale.

In March will be the third full-length novel in my Sex University series. The Master Class is a F/F/M, and it’s five years in the making!

Finally, I’ve put in a proposal for a third Black Hills Wolves story that finishes Shilah’s tale. Wish me luck that it’s accepted (and then I need to start writing!).

6. What is your very most favorite book of all time?

It would have to be something like Anne Rice’s “Interview with the Vampire,” or Stephen King’s “Dark Tower” series, which isn’t a single book! For years, my favorite was “It.” Since my master’s thesis in English was written on King, I have to give him credit. In romance? *sigh* So many!

7. Have you ever met any Authors?

As a fan, I’ve been fortunate to meet authors such as Anne Rice, Dean Koontz, Clive Barker and even Ray Bradbury at a signing. I’d love to add Stephen King to that list.

As a writer, I have an amazing, growing list of friends who are talented and creative writers. It’s a wonderful thing about the romance community: How supportive everyone is of each other.

8. What do/did you want to be when you grow/grew up?

Would you believe I’ve always wanted to be a writer? There were a few distractions such as model. Too bad I never grew as tall as expected (my dad is 6’4” and my aunt is 5’10”).

9. What is your favorite book that "you" have written?

I’m sure you get similar responses, but it’s almost impossible to select out one favorite book. So many resonate.

10. Please provide for us your social media links and book links:

Sell links for Winter Solstice:

Available via Amazon, ARe, iBooks, Kobo and other eRetailers.

11. Anything to add:

Thank you so much for all your time reading and writing these interviews. I appreciate all that it takes, and much love.

Claiming the She Wolf - Louisa Bacio

Claiming the She Wolf
By Louisa Bacio

Now that Tala Graystone’s brother has decided to leave the nest, she is determined to restore the bed and breakfast. It will keep her occupied and after all, it could use a woman’s touch, or maybe even a wolf’s touch. However, now she has found that she requires a little help, because she cannot do this alone.

Yas Collins feels beckoned by Black Hills, South Dakota. He himself has a background in construction.  Once he finds himself there, the town doesn’t seem very welcoming of him, however he does seem to find work at Tala’s.

I loved the part when she shows him to his room, and he looks at the walls, which are lavender, and he says, this doesn’t look like it would be for me, it looks like it would be a room for you. And she tells him it is the best room in the house, and that it is her room. They exchange glances. And you can, as you read just feel the aura as you read it.

The drawing of them wanting and yearning in the very beginning, the desire is there, but you know how people, (and apparently wolves) we play it cool in the beginning.
They find themselves meeting glances, and finding their desires and cravings, and getting to know one another.

Not only do they work on the bed and breakfast, but they build a relationship with one another. I loved how playful they were, silly, and fun loving. This made me smile a lot. I actually found myself smiling and giggling quite a lot through out this book.

It is very romantic book, truly helps you to see that love can prevail in the long run, so long as you work at it. But the book also shows you, that the outside world always likes to put there two sense in, and to just ignore it, and them and love will prevail.

I give this book five starts, when a book makes you smile while reading it, it is truly worthy of reading again and again!

Now my questions for Lousia:

1.) the characters do you have any photos or descriptions to provide for us to imagine or see who they are?

Attached are images I used when writing the book. (Did not come through, I apologize.~Deneale)

2.) what made you write this delicious book?

The idea of the shared world of Black Hills Wolves intrigued me. Writing with the established world and guidelines added another challenge. The characters also came to life pretty fast.

3.) what are you working on now?

Nothing! Seriously, I just submitted a new novella in a series two days ago. I’ve already started on book two. But, tomorrow is another story, lol.

Winter Solstice Ménage – which features Yas’s sister Sugar, came out recently. I have a third book with Tala’s brother planned.

In my Sex University series, I’m waiting for book 3, “The Master Class,” a F/F/M that I’ve been wanting to share for a long time! (2016)

4.) Aside from writing, what other hobbies do you have?

Primarily, spending time with my family. On top of that, we have a slew of pets that require plenty of love and attention. I’m talking about dogs, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish tanks and on and on.

5.) how long did it take you to write this book?

I had five months to write the books. Yes, that seems like a LONG time. I probably took all of it, and then some. Some thing I tend to write fast. It doesn’t always feel that way to me.

6.) out of all your own books- which one is your favorite?

Ah, woman! It’s an impossible question! The boys in Winter Solstice Ménage are hot-hot-hot. For the longest time, it was Nick from The Vampire, the Witch & The Werewolf novels. Now, maybe Tyler.

(I liked the green cock!)

7.) any tips for new writers?
There’s a meme about how other writers are not our competition. Make friends with others who understand. Plus bloggers and readers are your friends. They may be shy. Even if you are, make yourself as approachable as possible.

8.) please share with us all of your sites, info and where we can learn all about you:

Any extra info you'd like to add or share:

Find your joy in life. It’s different for everyone. What brings you happiness? Embrace it, and share it with others.

"His Reign" by Sascha Illyvich (the Opeth Pack Saga Book 1)

"His Reign" the Opeth Pack Saga Book 1
by Sacha Illyvich

As usual, here I sit, tantalized by Sacha. Wolves and sex. Oh wait..... And cigars. Oh... And more sex. This book is very interesting indeed.

You learn of family values, per the Wolves. You end up hating Kiba, who is the current Alpha of their tribe, but has went seemingly insane. You fall in love imagining Ilona and Lukina long for, try to fix, repair and want for their Alpha and lover Józsi to protect them, and become the new pack leader.... If only they can first conquer and kill Kiba. The story takes place in America and Hungary, back and forth.

The three wolves grew up together, but Józsi left as a young teen, because he didn't believe strongly in the prophecy, fought with Kiba, and knew sooner or later Kiba would prove to be a lousy leader. He left, but secretly came back, to check on his pack mates. He made a new life for himself, but still missed the women he loved deeply.

One day, she arrives and fetches him to take him back, to rescue his other lover, and try to put an end to it. Eventually, he does so, and brings them back to America, it wasn't an easy task mind you. There were fights, turmoils and problems along the way.

The book is very understanding, very deep, and heart felt. The book totally pulled me in, and kept me wanting more and more as I read!

I give this book five stars, and encourage others to check it out, it is a very unique and deep read. Also very sensual. I found it well worth my money spent, and time reading too!

 My Interview Questions for Sascha:

1. Is this Hungarian/Wolf language real?
Yup. Hungarian is a real language.

2. As a frequent reader of your books, is it normal for the male Character to resemble "You" or is that just "me" doing that?
Józsi isn't actually one of "me" per se, he's actually more based on Vin Diesel from Chronicles of Riddick and Pitch Black, with some good old angst thrown in for good measure.

3. Do you create your own wolf rules?
I do indeed.  The world itself was loosely based on the anime "Wolf's Rain" which is a very empty, almost apocalyptic world where wolves are extinct or nearly so.  Mine is not so much the same though.  Not so much extinction, just fear of the wolves from mankind.

4. Are you "secretly" a wolf? giggling?
Come closer, Red…

5. How many wolf books have you written?
Five in the Opeth Pack Saga, Torn to Pieces makes five, Endangered coming soon from Red Sage, makes six and I'm sure I have a few more from other publishers.

6. I've also notice cigars are in your books, and that you also smoke them. Is that too; on purpose?
As of now, it is.  The uniqueness of characters who smoke cigars is a rarity, a trait in manly men we are seeing sadly disappear from books, TV and movies in favor of some health and control nonsense.

7. Out of your books, all of them- which is your favorite and why?
Probably so far, ENDANGERED, which you'll get to review again as it comes out September first from Red Sage

8. Other than yourself, whom is your favorite Author?
Even though I heard less than great things about The King, I'd still have to say JR  Ward.  I have to read the book and make up my own mind, obviously. Her dark worlds and characters inspire me to bring out the inner demons of my own characters.

9. What are your favorite books to read?
Paranormal romances mostly.

10. How much time do you spend writing?
Depends on if I'm on deadline or not.  I can knock out a first draft in two months with a total of 400 pages written, or about 100,000 words just in the draft alone.

11. What is your favorite cigar and why?
It's a toss-up between the Don Cervantes Masaterpiece Platinum, the Tres Maduro or the Propio Léon all by ACC Cigars.  All three cigars are masterfully made by the folks at ACC Cigars using the finest tobaccos to create a complex, rich flavor that's satisfying and rewarding to those who can afford the price of quality.

12. Do you pen pal or epal with your fans?
Yup.

13. Currently how big is your fan base?
Ginormous and growing!

14. Are you married or involved?
Those involved know the answer.

15. Do you get "horny" as you write your own sex scenes?
I fap it twice a day, so…maybe.

16. As always: please include all links, and ways to contact you:

17. Any additional comments you'd like to include:
Look out for Fall Into Love, Book Four of the Opeth Pack Saga coming soon from Secret Cravings, and ENDANGERED coming out from Red Sage September 1st!  On that note, I hope you enjoy reading my books and I thank all my fans, old and new for supporting me.  You're a part of my world!
